"I began working with Eve privately at the end of January, 2008, but I had learned the
critical importance of nutrition a year prior from her clinics with Team In Training. Eve's nutritional guidance has been a daily routine since January, and will continue
to be throughout 2009.
I thought I was in good shape before January after completing 12 triathlons in two years. I had done sprints, Olympics, and half IM's and was pretty content with my finishes
and my overall health and fitness. But it's tough to decide what is "most" notable, so here are a few that are significant to me: setting personal records in EVERY race in
2008, completing Ironman Florida, losing 25 pounds, losing 4 inches
off my waist, or cutting my body fat percentage in half. But what I
felt the most was a lack of pain in my knees for the first time in
10 years from not carrying those extra pounds.
The best part about working with Eve is the personalization of your plans and her attention to details specific for your situation. It’s also great knowing that as an Ironman herself,
she can speak from first hand experience about what works and what doesn’t.
I think the most valuable part of working with Eve has been learning the importance of balance in your diet; not only of what and how much you take in,
but when you take it in as well.
