Nutriworks Comprehensive Nutrition Consulting began in 2004 because there was a vast need for individuals to learn how to use nutrition for performance. Eve Pearson Rodgers, owner, was a personal trainer and triathlete at the time.  She realized many of her clients and fellow competitors would be so much more successful with their fitness and performance goals if they were educated on how to use nutrition.  Concept: Eat to Train rather than Train to Eat.  There is so much misinformation out there and Eve wanted to make sure everyone she came into contact with knew about evidence-based nutrition practice.

This is the main reason Nutriworks began. After helping thousands of athletes and individuals reach their potential, Nutriworks started adding Sports Nutritionists to the team with hopes of expanding to a greater market including all sports.  With three office locations in the DFW Metroplex, Nutriworks can better meet local client demands and schedules.  Although we're limited to "seeing" clients in the DFW Metroplex, we work with athletes from all over the country via teleconference or the web.  If you ever have suggestions or comments for us we are all ears!  And, remember, if you work out regularly, you're an athlete too!

Norrelle Dickson, office Manager at Nutriworks, was born in Orange County, California.  She grew up playing softball, soccer, basketball, and track.  Norrelle also participated in television commercials and movies during her childhood.

After graduating high school, Norrelle accepted a full scholarship to the University of Oklahoma to play softball for the Sooners.  She had a highly decorated college career; 3 time All-American, Big 12 Player of the Year, Jr. Olympic Gold medalist and Academic All-American.  Norrelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications in 2007, and was the 7th pick in the first round of the National Pro-Fast Pitch League.

After two successful seasons with the Akron Racers Norrelle returned home to California, where she began her career in sports broadcasting. Norrelle worked in the media department of the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks.  She also worked in the sports department at CBS. Norrelle has recently found her way to the Dallas area to follow her dream of being a sports broadcaster.

She currently works as the sideline reporter for the Millennium Sports Network, and is the newest member of the Nutriworks family.  Norrelle enjoys working with athletes, fitness, and healthy living.  As the Office Manager Norrelle is looking forward to interacting with clients and assisting them in achieving their goals.

Julie DuBois, RD, LD is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT).  She often speaks to organizations, including the Texas Ballet Theatre School, on the topics of sports nutrition and the prevention of eating disorders and is a regular contributor to SuperKids Nutrition.

Julie completed her undergraduate work at Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Coordinated Dietetics.  She danced with the Orlando Ballet and Tulsa Ballet prior to obtaining her RD credential.  Most recently, Julie danced with the Texas Dance Theatre and was a guest artist in the Festival Ballet of North Central Texas’s production of The Nutcracker.

Julie’s chosen lifetime sport was dance and she attended The Harid Conservatory to live this dream. Prior to that, Julie trained with the Academy of Dance Arts in Allen, TX and was a member of the Dallas Repertoire Ballet.   Julie is a two time recipient of the NFAA Arts Merit award in ballet and also received the Caryn Halperin Schrest Ballet Scholarship and the Texie Waterman Scholarship from the Dance Council.  Julie continues to perform as a guest artist throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Having suffered for several years before being properly diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Julie is passionate about helping people understand living with a gluten free diet but still enjoying life!  Since there is life after a dance career for most people, Julie now enjoys a variety of dance classes, CrossFit, yoga and Pilates as a means for continuing to be active.

Eve Pearson Rodgers, MBA, RD, CSSD, LD is the owner of Nutriworks. She believes if you’re active, you’re an athlete!  Some of the organizations and teams Eve consults or has consulted for are: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training Programs (TNT), YMCA, Michael Johnson Performance, Integrated Athletic Development, Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas, Instinct Volleyball Club, and several triathlon clubs.  She has also consulted for several individual athletes from the Nike Oregon Project and the National Football League (NFL).  Eve has been quoted several times in the Dallas Morning News, on AOL, and interviewed for Channel 5 news.  She has been a contributor to American Cheerleader Magazine and Stack Magazine.

A native of Texas, Eve has resided in the DFW Metroplex since 1999. She became active in sports at a very young age competing as a gymnast and cheerleader.  She also played soccer for a short time at age seven and softball in high school.  After cheering at TCU, Eve did triathlon for five years and finished with Ironman Brazil in 2006.  Today, she continues to run with hopes of qualifying for Boston Marathon soon!

Eve earned a bachelor of science degree in Coordinated Dietetics from Texas Christian University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Texas.

On a personal note, Eve truly loves her job and the rewards it brings. She provides the resources so her clients can accomplish anything they’re ready to. Although growing the business is where she spends most of her “extra” time these days, Eve enjoys running, camping, scrapbooking, and mountain biking when she gets a break.
